Newest Piece...

Alright...

So my newest analysis is going to be based on redzone value. Clearly it's hard to predict touchdowns of 30+ yards, but we know that most teams reach the redzone on a fairly consistent basis. This means we have good sample sizes of what each team does when they reach that part of the field. Based on research, we can nail down what each teams/coordinators like to do when they reach that part of the field, and who excels in that part of the field. I hope to not only find how often a team scores on offense in the redzone compared to other parts of the field for starters, and once I get those statistics figured out, I will move on to determining what players are most effective in that area. This could really help in picking players based on more than just last year's stats and what defenses are giving up against certain positions. While I would agree that these statistics do matter, I believe that it is far more important to know what the offensive team will do in certain situations rather than what defenses will do to stop them. After all, most fantasy leagues are based on offensive playmakers.

I'll keep you guys posted and let you know what's going on with the progress!
